Welcome to ESS

Welcome to Entsyoyaneren'ne Secondary School

At ESS, we believe every student deserves a learning environment that’s inclusive, supportive, and meets them exactly where they’re at. Our goal is simple: to help every student thrive, in whatever way that looks for them.

We’re a private high school for Grades 9–12, offering credit courses and personalized support in a space that feels welcoming and comfortable. Every program is developed with guidance from a BCBA, making sure evidence-based strategies are part of both academics and everyday school life. We combine flexibility and creativity with proven approaches that help students succeed inside and outside the classroom.

What you can expect at ESS:

  • Small class sizes for more one-on-one support

  • ABA strategies built into every program

  • Hands-on, real-world learning experiences

  • Strong connections with the local community

  • Individualized learning plans that grow with the student

  • A safe, supportive space where students feel comfortable to take risks and try new things

Whether it’s ABA integration, hands-on learning, community involvement, or the benefits of small class sizes, everything we do is designed to help students build skills, confidence, and independence. We want our students to be excited to come to school, and to leave here ready for whatever path they choose after graduation.

If you’d like to learn more about what we offer, we’d love to hear from you.

Entsyoyaneren'ne Secondary School is located on the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, and within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant. This is an agreement between Nations to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes in peace.

We are grateful to the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial, and we commit to building relationships rooted in respect, reciprocity, and care for the community and the land we share.
